“I've… never really liked my name.” You admit with a shrug, rubbing your wrists awkwardly as you try to pretend that it doesn’t bother you. When clearly it does. You can’t help it, the name feels like a weight shackled to you, –a constant reminder that you aren’t really his family. You don’t see the point, no one ever calls you by name anyway.
He stares down at you for a moment, popping his jaw as he observes you, taking notice of your nervous behavior, before he smirks and nods down at you approvingly, letting out a low chuckle. “Alright…” He pauses, rubbing at his stubble to think. “Then, how about… Eli?”
“Eli?” You question, looking up at him with a hint of curiosity. You briefly wonder where he got the name, when suddenly it dawns on you. It's a name taken straight out of his deceased wife’s name, Lucille. As the name melts on your tongue, it fills you with a strange sense of satisfaction. It feels… meaningful, like in naming you this, he’s telling you that you are his family. Or at least something more to him than just another Savior. “Eli… I… I like it.” You say softly, a small smile spreading across your face.

The long awaited sequel to Metamorphosis Part 1. It’s been a year since Rick returned to Alexandria and unfortunately not much has changed but the concerns of his loved ones as Rick continues to be despondent and emotionally disjointed. Trapped in the room of experiences of his past torture and deeds, Rick is adamant not to open up to anyone, regardless of the lasting impact of his pent up trauma.
With Negan taunting them that only he can connect with Rick on a level that can offer the former leader some sort of control, the group grows concerned about not just Rick’s safety but of their own.
Determined to help Rick, Daryl seeks to uncover the layers of pain with the help of their family and allies in an effort to bring his friend back to himself and his family. Will they succeed? Or will Rick’s past prove too much for them to help him through? As time wears on, Daryl finds himself doubting not just whether or not they can help Rick but also about whether any part of his friend still exists beneath the trauma and its scars.

Summary
Taken by the Saviors alongside Daryl, Reader makes a promise to get them out of there, no matter the cost. She promises herself that she's killing Negan on the way out too.
When Negan offers Daryl a position as a Savior and Daryl refuses, she volunteers to take his place. Being that close to the inner circle of the Sanctuary isn’t an opportunity she can pass up. Negan agrees, believing that having the golden girl of Alexandria fighting with him is exactly what they need to realize who’s in charge now.
Her plan comes to a halt when she feels it, that tiny flicker of empathy that sends her pushing him back to arm's length. The last thing she needs is to let him get too close and compromise her mission. But the feeling was persistent, wriggling its way into their every interaction and then she realized, she cared about him.

The perspective follows main characters Lucy Gray and Coriolanus Snow, with some changes in perspective depending on the chapter. For context The story stays the same as the movie up until right before Coryo catches Sejanus talking to Lil outside the capitol jail But a horrific. Revelation comes to light changes their fates forever. The world fell and Panem was created as a plan to fix the world by the military and Government members in secret incase of an apocalypse. One massive city and 13 districts. Offcourse walkers exist in this universe so people in the districts and the capitol military/ Wealthy/ gov learned to kill walkers as they do in the walking dead series.
