A young human life cleric finds herself in a place outside of her intended destination to the disappointment and frustration of her goddess. To make things worse, she has been infected with an illithid tadpole, has been sent back to the beginning of her progression as a cleric (level 1), and is forced to travel with a group of strangers to avoid ceremorphosis. Still lost in the mystery of how and why she is here, she is forced to confront her past and somehow find hope in the end, despite marching herself to her own death regardless of her choices (as far as she can tell).
Will she manage to free herself from her affliction before she is transformed into a mind flayer?

I'll be weaving in expanded lore from DND and will be incorporating images from photo mode. Astarion looks regal and commanding as ever. I smirk seductively raising my chin up to him in acknowledgment, as he stands and calls to me across the hall, “Ah there you are! My beautiful consort. Come, join me.”
I step quickly closing the distance between us, “Hello my love, I have dispatched of the problem. We will be pickier when choosing handmaidens in the future.”
“Of course, my treasure. Whatever you desire.” He purrs.
The servant spawn standing behind Astarion’s throne shift nervously, glancing quickly at each other. I make my way to the chair beside his, but he stops me, and grabs my wrist. Then pulls me in for a deep kiss, in front of the merchant who flushes and looks at his shoes. Astarion’s hands slide down to my rear and he gives me a squeeze in my semi-sheer revealing dress.
