Summary
Shane screwed everything up for himself, for Sterling, and for Callie. He’d always known he didn’t deserve them. Now, he just needs to find a bit of courage to make his final choice.
Sterling hurt those most precious to him, just like he always had and always would. As his withdrawal symptoms twist both body and mind, he chooses to protect his loved ones.
Callie spent a lifetime sacrificing herself for the sake of others, trying desperately to be the person she needed. But when her attempts to help only make things worse, can she choose to let them go?
Choices: Winter is the final fic in my Choices series, interweaving characters, lore, and storylines from the original game and a multitude of mods including Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village, and East Scarp. Expect a goodly amount of angst, but also expect comfort, camaraderie, fluff, adventure, humor, and yes, romance too.
This fic (and all of Choices) is now complete.

Summary
Things for Sterling are going well—too well, perhaps. He has finally arrived at a place of hope and stability that he’s longed for most of his life. But that doesn’t mean past choices can’t come back to bite him in the ass.
Things for Callie are… well, they’ve certainly been better, but they’ve also been worse. Everything with Philip blew up in her face, and she’s still hurting. But that doesn’t mean her future choices can’t turn out for the better.
Things for Shane are pretty shitty. His best friend(s) have no time for him, he’s still mean and disgusting, and to make matters worse, his drinking nearly killed Jas. But that doesn’t mean his current choices have to stay on the same path.
Choices: Fall picks up directly after Choices: Summer and continues to interweave characters, lore, and storylines from the original game and a multitude of mods including Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village, and East Scarp. While I do enjoy torturing my blorbos, there’s also a goodly amount of both fluff and humor to be found, plus an (un)healthy dose of pining and flirting.
The fic is complete.

Summary
Sterling had seen Shane do this, and Sterling had done just about everything wrong at the time. Afterwards, one of the things Shane had stressed was not to touch him when he acted like that. Emily looked up at Sterling, obviously startled and confused. "What's going on?" she asked.
"She's disassociating—probably a flashback of some kind," he said in a quiet undertone, trying to keep his tone even. "Don't touch her. We need to remind her that she's here, now, and safe."
Emily looked completely lost. Sterling didn't blame her. He crouched down on Callie's other side, not too close so as not to crowd her. "It's Sterling, Callie. You're at the Egg Festival, here in Stardew Valley. You're safe. Can you hear me?"
She didn't respond.
Callie attends her first festival in the valley. An unfortunate encounter with Shane brings back memories she'd rather forget. Sterling and Emily come to her rescue.
Another Phase 2 vignette for What Might Have Been. Takes place after "Dinner with Friends."

Summary
"So, how much do you remember from last night?" I asked, watching Sterling from the corner of my eye.
Sterling groaned, knocking his forehead against the bar. "Not that much, to be honest. Henry made sure to read me the riot act all about it this morning, though."
"I suspect Henry was angry and used the nearest tool available," I commented, dipping my fork in the bowl of salad dressing before spearing some greens. "If you don't remember, what do you think happened last night?"
"That I came on to you way too strongly, and that I should be grateful I have all of my bits and pieces still attached."
I choked on my salad. Spluttering, I managed to cough the offending piece of spinach loose, then took a drink of water. "What?" I whispered.
Sterling stared at me.
I stared at Sterling.
Shane stared at both of us.

Summary
Callie Solanen returned to the valley to reclaim her family's legacy and just wanted to fix things. Sterling Cooper left his heart in Zuzu City and just wanted any distraction he could find. Shane Wallace still lived here after damn near a decade and just wanted the new farmer to let him and Sterling kill their livers in peace.
Their choices end up completely changing one another.
Choices: Spring interweaves characters, lore, and storylines from the original game and a multitude of mods including Stardew Valley Expanded, Ridgeside Village, and East Scarp. This is a slow burn—a very slow burn—that also includes a bit of fluff and humor, a dollop of adventure, an unreasonable amount of flirting, and also some good, old-fashioned Blorbo Torture.
Story is complete.
