Summary
Crickets the Clown isn't the brightest. Well, that's what she's been told. She's a no-good circus druggie with no hope for a future. She's been told that, too. So, when she's swept out of Waterdeep to Baldur's Gate for a traveling show, she's expecting nothing less than the usual. Barely enough pay to last, and back pain. What she gets is a one-way trip to a mindflayer ship, and deposited to a random corner of the world where she has to rely on allies she's just met to survive. Crickets definitely doesn't think herself deserving of love, especially not from anyone like all the good people in her party. But...maybe it'll find her, and she'll finally see what on Faerun anyone could see in her.
