Summary
“Dad punished him,” Luther unhelpfully explained why Five wouldn't stop buzzing. Or talking for that matter.
“What was supposed to be a punishment for me though, has turned into a problem for everyone. He forbade me from using my powers” Five explained, speaking a bit faster than normal. Which made Luther struggle to follow, he already was slow to understand Five on a normal day.
Though Diego would say he was just slow to begin with.
“Couldn't you just use it anyways?” Klaus asked genuinely. It's not like any of them, excluding Luther, was against going against their father.
“And get caught on one of the cameras?” The question didn't need to be answered.

The end of the world is staring the Hargreeves down, and Five is tired. He wants it to stop, and he suspects that the only way things will be okay is if they all die. He wants to give up.
Then again, there's a subway of infinite timelines that he could travel to. Five could travel back to his original timeline and stop all this from happening, starting with saving his Ben.
In a world full of challenges, after four apocalypses, Five gathers together the last of his strength to fight it one last time. In the past, he had his family; this time, Five must save the world on his own.
Oh, and did I mention that he's still struggling with his own issues? Yeah. This will be tough.

A rewrite of the ending of s4! I thought the dropped plotline of saving the og Ben was dumb bc Five HAD a journal to navigate the subway? Here's my attempt at fixing it! Apologies for some (many) things possibly being ooc, but there's nothing more ooc than s4 when Five gave in to the apocalypse and let his family die. This is (probably) a lot better! Also, Five/Lila is HEAVILY in here, BUT Five goes on a journey of his own through this, and he'll realize it wasn't real on his end either. Enjoy!
