Prince Kunikuzuchi (Wanderer) is forced to go to a ball that his family hosted where the entire kingdom is invited, and has to dance with a commoner. To his dismay but slight amusement, his dance partner is a man who openly hates the royal family with a passion, but is sly enough to catch Kuni off-guard with pretty words and pretty dance moves. Kuni leaves the party feeling flustered and annoyed, but is calmed by the thought that he would never see the outrageous man again. That is, until he does that very night.
