Loki, at just 24, is desperately struggling to find his place in the world, which is made rather difficult by his own circumstances. Burdened by the knowledge of his birth being the cause of his mother’s death, tossed from his comfortable life of wealth after being caught with a man, and now currently living with his older sister made sex worker, are all just enough to distort Loki’s perception of the world.Mobius is just a lonely, 35-year-old widow running a company that he barely knows anything about, and one evening he sees a scared young person shivering in the cold.

And yeah, right, he doesn’t know what to say in the face of all these feelings, but at the very least he knows that he’s not ready to say it back, what with this pesky money thing still on the table between them, and it shouldn’t matter, but Loki realizes that it does. Matter. It matters.
