Summary
Usually, in a story like this you'd wait for a knight to come to the base of a mighty tower, dressed in glowing moss and held by sunlight. In this tower a woman waits at the top for her Knight to break her curse and set her free, take her far away into the setting sun and in that story, they live their Happy Ever After. This story is not that story. The princess is caged, to be certain, held hostage by an entity old and powerful and more wicked than a cracked tooth, more rotten than--well. In this story happiness is not as simple as walking up and taking it; it has to be fought for and in this story, our knight might need saving too. Imogen Temult is a witch born into a town that hates witches, whose dreams are sometimes prophetic and whose body is attuned to a forest full of rot and ruin. There is a monster in those woods and she is bound to save it.

Keyleth finds peace by the Sun Tree.
That's it.
This is just a small thing I wrote while sitting by my own favourite ancient oak tree, wishing I could talk to it and listen to some of that ancient forest wisdom. Moral of the story, if you feel anxious sit by a tree, feel better, stay safe.
