David gave me this dusty notebook. He was really keen on the fact that having some sort of diary will lower my stress levels. He even claims to have consulted therapists about how effective the coping strategy is but I am pretty sure he's just using Gwen's psychology degree against me. I didn't outright say that though, I don't want to upset him. Which I'd never ever admit out loud, he's just done a lot for me recently is all. A few weeks ago the paperwork was officially finalized for him to adopt me with Gwen. I act all stupid when it is brought up though so I made them both swear not to tell anyone about them being my new legal parents. Gwen wasn't shocked and David was just over the moon I asked him to adopt me in the first place. That and my birthday is in 4 months, I don't know how I'd remember it if David didn't check my legal records. I'll be turning 17 on October 22nd, I moved in with David the first year at Camp Campbell, no regrets."

David had just come home from work, tired. The job he worked had been a hassle, Milo had to break up a fight between two people, an air elemental and an earth elemental. The fight was over something stupid, nothing he thought was really worth fighting over. Once they got that settled it randomly started to rain, which had the job cut short. All David wanted to do now was lay down with his Angel, and possibly order take out, because he wasn’t in the mood for cooking anything—Which was something that only happened on occasion. The universe, however, had other plans for him, as upon walking into his house he was presented with a sleeping Angel—which in itself is not something he hasn’t seen before, but what was strange was that Angel had wings.
