Lestat is a world-famous rockstar, as vain and entitled as they come. Armand is a burlesque dancer with a murky past and too many responsibilities.
Wanting to show Lestat a good time and score points for an interview, Daniel brings him to the club where his ex performs. It goes the way it usually does for Lestat—love at first sight. Armand is less enthusiastic.

Sprinting to the foyer, Louis almost crashed into Armand as the other abruptly stopped in his tracks. “Arma—” Louis began and then trailed off as he took in what caused Armand to look like someone had just walked over his grave.
Standing in the doorway were Benji and Sybelle, and in Sybelle’s arms was a tiny, screaming bundle wrapped in a dirty sheet.

Each chapter is a slice of life look at what it's like for two vampires just trying to rebuild a relationship--along side the difficulties surrounding being Prime Minister to the Prince, and attempting to claim a sense of autonomy as a 500 year old teenager.Told from Armand's POV.

The vampire Daniel Molloy here and I'm here to tell you that I'm back and writing, baby! This piece won't be a hit like the "Interview with a Vampire" that I published, but hey it's nice to write again!
This is my story of my trip back from craziness and my take on everything that happened in our little Vampire community in the last few years, they've sure been a doozy. It's not a grand tale of world altering events like what you'd get in Lestat's books, but rather a story of endurance and second chances.

First scene opens up on page 66 of TVA. Final scene is post-Blood Communion. Each scene is labeled with a time and place for your convenience re: keeping the chronology straight.

Lestats new reign requires a certain demonstration of loyalty and faith to keep all vampires at the Chateaux under control. Armand cannot face the new situation having been properly damaged by Santino all those centuries ago, and in a panic tries to flee and avoid the issues that have plagues him all his immortal life. Luckily he has Louis and Daniel to keep him on the right path and to help him through his fears.

Decided to use some of KC's ideas for a comedy fic in "60 Things You'll Never See in the Vamp Canon." I used the following in no particular order.
1. Squirrels invade Rue Royal! Will Louis notice all the rodents climbing over him?
5. Sybelle spontaneously combusts! The coven celebrates, even Marius!
6. Danny organizes the coven into a Vampire Lord of the Dance!
22. Lestat loses his memory, thinks he's Superman.
23. Pandora, Gabrielle and Jessica all get amnesia, think they're the Powerpuff Girls!
32. The coven goes diving to see sharks up close, Benji slips out of the shark cage and is devoured.
41. Louis decides to live his un-life as a woman!
48. Lestat: Kills Benji. Armand: Oh my God! He killed Benji! Marius: You bastard!
49. Superman meets Lestat.All characters belong to A. Rice. No money made this fic.
AU silly spec fun to work on when bored. I see this as a challenge to make all these things happen in a silly story.
