'We have a girl who's recently moved here, and she was going to join us in September anyway. However, I thought it might be good if she joined us now, and you two raced together in the end of year race.'
Greaseball blinked. 'Race with someone I've never met in the most important race of the year? Over my brother?'
'Well, you can't race with me anyway.' Tassita pointed out.
'And even though she's new, this girl is a very skilled coach. She's raced in other youth groups her whole life, like you, and I think it would be a good temporary pairing.' Coach said. 'It's completely your choice, but I really think you should go for it.'
'Okay.'
'Great.' Coach grinned. 'I'll message her parents right away. Are you coming to practise tomorrow?' Greaseball nodded. 'You'll meet Dinah there, then.'
