Ah unos meses del intento por juntar a las familias Tendo y Saotome para casar a Ranma con Akane, y ahora con un año y medio de tener la maldición en su cuerpo, está por fin logra su cometido cambiar el organismo de Ranma más de lo que de por si ya lo había hecho; ahora ya no sólo era chico y chica, si no que su cuerpo de chica era el problema un problema nuevo y diferente a lo usual que escondía por temor y vergüenza de que lo descubrieran y pensarán que era menos hombre que antes. Un problema que estuvo ocultando 6 meses, 6 meses en los cuales cambio radicalmente su vida pero que había comprobado que el podía tomar sus propias elecciones y que las opiniones de los demás no importaban, teniendo como único apoyo y confidente de algunas cosas a la mayor de los Tendo y personajes nuevos que le hicieron ver más allá.

Yamazaki Maki is one of the very few students at Hyotei Academy who does not admire the school president and captain of the tennis club, Atobe Keigo—which was precisely the reason why she was appointed as the tennis club’s manager by the coach, much to her dismay. Though after many months of observing her teammates’ playing styles and drilling tennis rules and techniques into her brain, she came to learn that her teammates weren’t as bad as she thought they were.
Yamazaki is in her third year at Hyotei Academy and is also the manager of their esteemed tennis club. However, in her opinion, she feels more like a single mother taking care of two hundred and fifteen idiot toddlers.
But why does she stay when everyone’s so annoying? She loves them all too much. She’d rather drink piss than let them know that, though.

"On the day Ranma turned eighteen, he woke up at the crack of dawn intending to go out for a run around the neighborhood and train for a while before classes. He tiptoed down the stairs, trying not to wake the whole house, and almost had a heart attack when he found Akane sitting cross-legged at the dining room table. She had a huge cake in front of her with his name written in shaky block letters with some pink stuff.
The weight that Ranma suddenly felt in his stomach didn’t have anything to do with the perspective of trying to eat the cake. Granted, that could only end in disaster, and he didn’t like the idea of spending his birthday with Akane angry at him, but that was not what he was thinking about. Seeing her sitting there with her arms crossed and an air of determination to her, dread filled Ranma's insides. Somehow, he knew they were about to have that conversation he’d been trying to avoid for months."
Ranma turns eighteen, and his life doesn't go exactly as planned. When Akane leaves, he has to figure out what to do with himself, which turns into a self-discovery journey and some romance.
