Summary
In the late 1980s in East Berlin, Leno, a Russian exchange student at Humboldt University, is assigned to monitor Czech professor Petr Cech. One day, he stumbles upon an illicit affair between Cech and Tomás Rosickybut opts to conceal it due to personal conflicts. As their relationship deepens in an elective course where they interact as teacher and student, the Stasi begins to close in on Cech. Under the crushing pressure of the political regime, each individual is swept up in the overwhelming currents of their times, forced to make their own choices.
