Summary
The roof of the building that houses Spirits and Such is off limits, according to Reigen. When he tells Mob not to take the winding stairs he uses his what Ritsu calls his “helicopter mom” voice, as opposed to his “con man” voice or his “gay dad” voice or his “I’m emotionally vulnerable don’t ask me how unless you’re Serizawa” voice. Mob doesn’t name the voices- he’s not nearly as creative as his little brother- but he has learned to recognize them over time.
Teru says that Reigen’s “helicopter mom” voice is the one that Mob can ignore. He says this with one foot on the second step up to the roof and one foot on the third, grinning at Mob. “Well,” he amends, “unless it seems important. Like if he tells you not to exorcise a spirit that’s too powerful.”

Teru raises his brow, wondering where that came from, but he’s hardly surprised, “Yeah, I’ve known for a few weeks. I thought you already knew?" Teru replies, his voice soft, “I thought it was kind of obvious. I mean, they hold hands all the time and they kiss each other’s cheeks in front of other people sometimes and they linger on hugs. They haven’t said anything but haven’t exactly been doing a good job hiding it either.
Mob lifts his head to look at him, limbs stiff, “But...we do all of that stuff too?” He doesn’t understand why the other laughs.
“Yeah, and that kinda proves my point.”
“Why?”
“...Because we’re dating too.”
Or Teru and Mob have been dating for a month, the only problem is Mob doesn't know yet.

He knows when his fingers start to itch, when he's sweating in a cold room, when he sometimes loses the ability to breathe right. He just can't figure out why, or how to fix it. After a week, he finally decides to ask for help.
