Reigen took a deep breath, trying to quell his rising panic. He turned and attempted a nonchalant look towards Dimple, who was holding Mob’s arms tight against his chest, biting his lip in nervous fear. His own stomach churned. “Mob’s fine.” His voice sounds a lot lamer than he’d like.
Dimple was suddenly in front of him, putting Mob’s hands on his shoulders. “You don’t understand, Reigen. I can’t feel him anymore. His aura, I could tell it was in there at first, but, it’s unrecognizable now...just gone.”***
A Mogami-arc AU where Dimple doesn't help Mob regain his memories so he can defeat Mogami. After, a much-changed Mob works to try and be gentle again, with the help of Hanazawa Teruki, who is working towards the same thing.-

Reigen is walking home one day when he sees a kid whos clearly a bit beat up, choking another kid, AND psychic, with no experience with his powers before now.
So now it's apparently somehow his job to keep this quiet, troubled kid who is in an increasingly stressful situation safe and calm enough to not blow up, and teach him how to interact with both people who are trying to beat him into a pulp and who aren't.
And then it isn't just one kid, but a slowly accumulating group of distressed people.
How does he get into these situations?
OR: Mogamiland is real. The world is worse, but that doesn't mean there aren't small moments that it all better.

But the blue sky was sharper, and the daylight hours shorter, and your breath coiling in white mist in the mornings was a clear sign that the frost would be drawing in before too long.
On the bank of the river, in the golden-hour five-o-clock twilight, Emi was trying to fold the autumn day up like an origami crane into a poem of three short sentences.
Emi tries to write a poem to help get over a recent spate of writer's block. Mob doesn't know much about poetry, but he tries his best to help anyway.

Summary
All the other students shuffle into the rows and give the two adults brief greetings. Ritsu politely greets Serizawa and pointedly ignores the worst person on the planet.
Still, as he sits down next to Shou, he can’t help but notice the tiniest of trembles in Reigen’s fingers as he pulls out a camera. Upon closer inspection, he looks almost on the verge of a crisis. None of the others notice—whether it’s because they’re dumb as rocks or Reigen is good at hiding his emotions, he’s not sure.
