Summary
The battle that should have killed him left him alive—but not unbroken. Lucerys Velaryon survives, hunted and scarred, bound to three dragons whose fire mirrors his own untamed spirit. Alongside his brothers and twin sister, he discovers that family can protect—or betray—and that loyalty, vengeance, and dragons’ flames may be the only weapons strong enough to shape his destiny. But his uncle Aemond’s murderous obsession shadows every step, a relentless storm of fire and fury threatening to consume all Lucerys holds dear. In a world of scheming courts, broken alliances, and war that never sleeps, surviving is only the first battle—and the war for everything he loves has just begun.

Summary
It seems that near enough every day, a new tale comes whispered of Lucerys Velaryon.
They say that he drowned beneath the waters of Shipbreaker Bay, that what arose from the waves was only the shade of the boy that fell from dragonback.
They say that he struck a bargain with the Stranger or worse god yet to live again, that any life reaped by him and his dragon forms some terrible payment to cheat death over and over.
They say that his dragon is no child of Valyria at all, but a demon from the seven hells, one that sees human and dragon alike only as carrion for the feed.
Aemond scorns each and every story for the absurdities that they are. Luke is as he always has been - a greedy, grasping bastard, bent on his ruin. No ghost, god or dragon could alter that.

Summary
“Aemond, do you know what happens when you kill law and order? When law and order dies, what replaces them is chaos and savagery…” Helaena whispers, voice shaking. “He’s been waiting for his chance and you, my brother, would give it to him”
Aemond cannot understand just what his sister means. How can he do such a thing?
“Do not do it, Aemond… He’d know.” She cries, voice begging
“I… I won’t, sister.” He doesn’t know what exactly it is he won’t do.
All the way to Dragonstone, green eyes snap open, roused from the changes in the world. The dragon slithered out of his cave, the sound of bones- dragon, human and animal, cracking like twigs under his weight. Scales as dark as the moonless night and teeth as black as his hunger. Helaena sees him open his wings and take to the skies, eager to stake his claim
Or:
If his father, the King would not punish Lucerys, Aemond would do it himself. An eye for a dragon, hence, a dragon for an eye. But what no one knows, save Helaena, is just how eager a lone dragon is back at Dragonstone
