Dogday stopped the both of them in the middle of the kitchen, the intermittent flashing of crimson from the window behind them creating a halo effect around his figure as he spoke, “Because I’ve always got you right here,” He paused to shove a claw into his own chest, “My heart knows you better than it knows itself. And it knows you’d never lay a paw on another innocent being, no matter the circumstance. That’s how I’m so sure.”
