Summary
Ash had chosen death. Slumped over a table in the reading room, Eiji's letter clutched in his hand, he had been content to shuffle off the mortal coil. Fate, however, has other plans for him.
Awaking in a place known only as The Library, he meets a familiar face deep in the archives, who provides him with several options. He can go and live his life again, restarting it from different points and with different variables that change the outcomes. The Librarian wants him to be satisfied with life, but it seems that, for someone like Ash, living a life free of regrets is impossible, and the choices he makes searching for such a life are not always the right ones.
