Summary
Garten Islands was once a popular theme park. A place where family and fun could be had all year round until tragedy struck and the islands were lost under the waves.
Or so everyone thought.
No one knew that the islands were there, now home to the mascots that were left behind and were building a life for themselves. And while everyone is content to stay on the island, there are still many ups and downs they have to deal with, memories that just love to pop up unannounced with trauma that simply won't go away. Worries of the near future linger in the back of the minds as new changes come, and simple living isn't as easy as one might think.
But at least now they had a chance at a better life out from under their human creators thumbs.

Rebecca had never expected to have to enter the walls of that weird kindergarten her younger siblings go to on a regular basis. But then she arrives home and finds out from her uncaring mother that Jack and Claire missed the pick-up time, and that her mother really doesn't care about going back for them.
Screw her, Rebecca thinks. Then she takes it upon herself to head to the kindergarten and find out where her missing siblings are. So what if she's never been inside the place? Those two are the best thing that's ever happened to her, and she's not stopping until she finds them and brings them back home.
She didn't expect to enter the place, only to find an unimaginably huge, multi-layered underground facility that definitely doesn't belong beneath any kindergarten under the sun.
She didn't even think for a second that she would meet face-to-face with an entire parade of strange and nonsensical creatures, each one weirder than the last, and all of them forming some kind of big, disjointed family.
And not once, not even for a moment, did she genuinely believe any of them would be friendly. Or want to help her find her little brother and sister.
And yet...they did.
