Summary
In which many things are different; the bugs are humans (or human adjascent) and have guns, and cars, and evil megacorperations, and a massive underground network of hirable crimesters known as Shadowrunners. But there's still magic and gods and shamans of those gods.
Ghost has been free, living anonymously out of reach from their father, the CEO of Hallownest, for decades now. They'd be happy to wash their hands of the corperation for good, but when their sibling reaches out with information about the latest horrible thing the Pale King has been up to, well... they might just have to get involved.
