Summary
Everyone on their sixteenth birthday gets a string that appears on their ring finger. Everyone who has turned sixteen or is already sixteen has a red string on their ring finger that only you and your soulmate can see. It’s the same for everyone else in the world, but some people say it will lead you to your soulmate if you decide to follow after your red string.
Others say that it’s so you know that you have a soulmate. Some people believe it’s fake and don’t believe it. Others believe that it leads you to your fate and how you'll end up dying. Some don’t follow their red strings, while others who do believe it, and they follow their red strings. But these strings cannot be cut whatsoever.
Because these red strings are indestructible, since nothing is able to break these red strings. Even if you really wanted to get rid of your red sting, you couldn't. Which meant that you would be stuck with the red string until you eventually die.
