After the death of his uncle, Roy assumed that the worst part of his life was behind him, only to quickly learn that these things don't just go away, no matter how hard he tries to get rid of them. After a particularly bad idea, Roy finds himself thrown headfirst into conspiracies filled with demons, monsters, cannibals, ghosts, cults and eldritch entities. He didn't sign up for this.
(Aka Roy attempts to heal from trauma with the help of his friends, two random children, an overworked employee, a demon, a posessed doll, an undead cannibal, a priest, and several other strange things that he did not sign up for.

It's tough when as long as you've lived, you've been manipulated by those you trust the most. How to take out that anger? Blame it on other people. And that's exactly what Roy has been doing for as long as he can remember. He can't be himself around anyone other than the two people he's been friends with since early grade school, and even then, the last thing he'd want to do is burden them with his sob story of a life. He doesn't try to befriend people anymore, either (at least genuinely, anyway). Mostly because whenever he gets close to someone, his misfit attitude eventually drives them away. So, that's what he's always expected from everyone. But what happens when a jaded candy store employee who's whole job is staying in one place for an entire day isn't ALLOWED to leave? Or, maybe, he never really wanted to leave in the first place?
