Summary
Jimmy finds himself still thinking about the delegation, about the games. Would he even have a chance, if he managed to get in? Knowing his luck, he’d probably be eliminated first. And yet, as Jimmy stares up at his ceiling, listening to Norman purr, he thinks of the Watchers in their celestial palace. He wonders what it would be like, to sit amongst the stars, with the entire world available at the tip of his fingers.
Jimmy has spent his entire life in the same town, with the same people, doing the same job, and quite frankly, he's sick and tired of it. So when an opportunity comes up in the form of a delegation for Kumoichi, the capital city, alongside the opportunity to compete in the Dragon Games, the prize being nothing less than godhood, well, Jimmy's got nothing to lose… except his life.
