Summary
This is a story actually based off of Lady Athena and Medusa and the erasure of the story of women who are brought justice BY the bringer of justice—Lady Athena. I am a hellenic polytheist so I try to always be respectful, but this is for fictional purposes and all characterization will not be completely accurate.

After Odysseus comes back, Antinous isn't killed on the spot. Which means that when Penelope saw Odysseus and confirmed it was him, she was utterly relieved, only to see him keel over with a blooming red stain from the sword in him driven in by Antinous, the very suitor who's haunted her halls for three years.
This makes Penelope plummet into a deeper depression, and this makes Telemachus fall into a spiral and despair from the fact his father came back only to be killed.
Penelope is desperate for help, for a helping hand, for someone to hold her in their lap like Odysseus would.
