And nobody knows about his family either. OoT Link shares a similar fate, but at least we know his mom took him in care of the Kokiri before she (most likely) passed away. I know, the TP manga has its own plot about this, but I like to share my own fiction, too :D Also some Link/Ilia hints. Or more like obvious stuff. Take it or leave it. I you don't like (or even hate) their „relationship“ (because of her bossy attitude) you should skip that fanfiction.
