Summary
Cassius’s first impression was he looks like a dick. His second impression was oh, that’s Marcus Antonius. Neither thought particularly endeared him to the man, so he pulled Brutus forward, eager to leave the crowded agora and go somewhere more productive to study. He caught Antony’s eye for half a second, and he might have been imagining it, but he thought that Antony faltered for a second while speaking.

Summary
If one tried to point to the moment when Caesar's fate was sealed, they would probably say it was when he was elected dictator for life. Maybe they would say it was sometime in between his second and third consecutive triumph, or when the civil war began, but they would all be wrong. Caesar’s fate was sealed thirty-seven years before it happened, when Servilia, sister of Cato the younger and husband of Marcus Junius Brutus, decided she was sick and tired of giving birth to girls. Thus, Quarta was renamed Marcus Junius Brutus the younger, and he was to be Servilia’s son.

Fulvia took one look at him when he returned home and snapped, “Wash your hands before you eat.”
“I’m not eating,” Antony responded just as acerbically. They were both like that- stressful situations made them lash out and cling to the things they could control.

Summary
Brutus still cherished the idea that once Caesar was out of the way, Antony's generous nature, ambition, and love of glory would respond to the noble example set by the conspirators, and that he would join them in helping their country to achieve her liberty.
-PlutarchIn the run-up to the most famous political assassination in history, principled-to-a-fault Marcus Brutus tried unsuccessfully to recruit Caesar's right-hand man, the controversial and outrageous Mark Antony; in this story, Antony accepts. They will spend the next nine months staggering from one crisis to the next, fending off all manner of detractors, power-seekers, each other, and one particularly determined youth who in another life became the first emperor of Rome.

Summary
BRUTUS
When Brutus was a child, he learned about all the great republican heroes. He was the descendant of Lucius Brutus, and a scion of Rome, a city founded on the killing of kings. He was taught as a child what bravery was, and he kept his principles even until the end of the Republic.
SCAEVOLA
Gaius Muncius, a young boy of noble birth, became indignant. He thought it was a shame that even under kings Rome had never been besieged by enemies, but now, while free, they were blocked by the Etruscans whom they often outfought. He thought this must be rectified through something brave and daring.- Language:

Summary
Imagine yourself as William Shakespeare, sitting at his desk at the end of the 16th century, pondering the annals of Roman history as he seeks about to craft his latest masterpiece--Julius Caesar.
Replete with political drama and moral reflection, you must tread the lines of truth and political limitation, of past and present foibles, and of the inner desire for the representation of drama, as you conceive the historical imagination of a timeless image. Thus always will Julius Caesar be a product of your own pen!
A meta short story about how I imagine what Shakespeare's writing process may have looked like, in a dramatic interpretation.
