Of Strange Travelers, or, A Journey Through the End of the First Age by Kestral

Summary
The characters of Thrilling Intent wander through the world Tolkien created. Times are grim in the year 537, but fortunately for these do-gooder-goofballs, they have each other.
(You do not need to have read the Silmarillion to understand this, although some things will make more sense if you have.)

Alternate Title: I have to do everything myself. There's absolutely no Gregor/Markus content on this website or anywhere else so I took it upon myself to make some. Set during the events of Episodes 333, 336 (kinda), and 339. Basically just Gregor trying to hold it together while looking for Markus and finally finding him again. Pre-slash oneshot.

Even if he did want to fall over with every dragging step; his sword left a line of dirt in the grass, highlighted with drops (read: puddles) of blood in and around it, settling into the blades of green like dew in the morning.

Summary
The world wasn’t weird. There was magic and bending, all of it was a complicated biological mess not helped by the monsters and spirit folk filling the world.
With the Ban rampaging dangerously through Freearch, people are becoming suspicious of each other, borders are closing and less people are able to travel as freely as they once were. It doesn’t help that the Avatar has been completely missing from the world for nineteen years.
Unlikely as it may be, there are people capable of helping, they’re a little odd, it’s not like they know each other yet... but they’re important, whether they know it or want to believe it at all.

Summary
Thog was fifteen when he met Moren for the first time. All cute blonde hair, a year and a half older than Thog with a too-cool-for-you kind of look even for an Alarani thug. It was infuriating. He was nice too and that made it all worse, Thog couldn’t be mean to someone so nice, especially to an older, slightly higher ranking thug.

Summary
Thog tended to be a naturally early riser, however, six-thirty was a far cry from three in the fucking morning, which was the time the (probably cursed) replacement pocket-watch he’d gotten from Rat was currently showing. He wasn’t sure how accurate it was, and it only ticked every other second and actually, now that he was sitting in the almost quiet of his room, listening to it, he was fairly certain it was whispering something at him, too quiet and garbled to understand.
He squinted dubiously at the timepiece for another moment, before shutting it and tossing it back onto the bedside table in favour of addressing whomever was knocking at his door, presumably because they didn’t understand basic fucking etiquette.

Charoth didn't know much, not anymore, not for a while.
Despite that, though, Charoth did know some things, and they thought a lot more than they let on.For example:
Charoth knew that they had been very angry and very scared, once upon a time.(sometimes you don't realize you're part of a family until it's too late)

“Who names their kid Thog, anyway?” She flipped through the pages for a moment and then frowned. “I can’t find a mention of any other name in here. How weird is that?”
Markus made a face like he was debating taking another drink of the suspect coffee, before rolling his eyes and pushing the mug to the other side of the desk in semi-disgusted defeat. “No one names their kid Thog, Aesling. It’s probably some dumb nickname someone came up with because his parents named him something stupid.”
“Like?”
He blinked a bit like an overlarge housecat. “Kelly?”

Summary
If anyone asked, Markus wouldn’t be able to say exactly how it happened. One second, he was trying to come to terms with the fact that Thog had lost his job, and the next, he was doing pipe-dream research on how to open a bakery with his girlfriend and her frankly disconcerting classmate.
She’d even made a list of goals in her notebook–which was actually incredibly endearing–for them to follow if they really wanted to go through with the whole thing.
And usually, Ashe was the more level-headed one of the two of them, but for some reason, she really thought they could pull this off, come hell or high water, and Markus suddenly understood what it meant to be the boring one in the relationship.

Summary
Thog was a light sleeper, he always had been, but it came especially in handy when he was dealing with one or more of the, frankly, crazy people he let board in his too-big house.
He didn't know when that particular habit had started, only that one day, he'd woken up and suddenly he was playing landlord for several people he could swear had been coughed up from some weird fantasy world.

They walked for a few moments, winding their way through the exhibits, until Thog stopped in his tracks and pointed, not bothering to keep his voice down in the otherwise deathly quiet museum. “What the fuck is that?”
Ashe looked over at the splotch of red, green and black hung on the wall. “It looks kind of like a multi-coloured Rorschach. Red and Green.”
He snorted and started walking again and Ashe smiled secretly to herself.

Summary
Markus didn’t remember the events that led to him waking up, groggy and a little light headed and staring at the sterilized white ceiling of a hospital room.
However, considering the fact that there was a bag labeled ‘morphine’ attached to is IV and a cute, silvery haired woman fiddling with his charts on the other side of the room, whatever it was must have been epic.

There were very few things Gregor hated more than snow.
Monsters were one of them.
Injustice was another.
So, in order: Monsters, Injustice, Snow.
And actually, he wasn't too fond of this dancing nonsense, either.
(it's a story about dancing, culture and bonding with your friends)
