Summary
The history of Mirkwood is ambiguous and up for many interpretations, despite many a loremaster's efforts in learning the truth. Perhaps, that is just how the Silvan elves wanted it to be?
"Hesitate" is a one-shot that takes place before the events of "Chosen Horizons", telling the backstory of Thranduil and the elves of Greenwood the Great, and what has happened to create the bitter, spiteful elf king we know and love.
