Summary
What is this violent ritual? These tales of suffering, where all ends in a feast of maggots and rot laid on a wormwood table for gods to feast on misery?
Life and death and life and death and life and death are locked in a battle that never ends. The cycle is the same. The pain is the same.
In the end, only sorrow remains.

Summary
The Queen of Encrypts returns in golden splendour, causing a rapid shift of paradigms among the Hive. The balance of power tipped yet again, old broods break apart and their members disperse between the armies of Savathûn and her warmongering sister.
After his last sibling’s death, there is nothing holding Dornuk in the Scarlet Swarm anymore, and he flees the hunger and despair of the Hellmouth to seek refuge among the Radiant Queen’s ranks. But not all is roses for the Lucent Brood: besides the electric chaos of a rapidly-forming swarm, Guardians are in close pursuit, and as eager as Savathûn is to chart a new path for the Hive, even she is aware of just how hard old habits die.
