There have been a lot of assassination attempts against Brittas. A lot. So much so that it was a surprise when the one thing that killed him in the end, even if it was temporary, was an accident.
That said, what if one of the earlier attempts, namely the one in Bulgaria, succeeded.
Brittas ends up living a different existence as a ghost, albeit one that can touch. The guy will have to deal with this and the impact that it will have, both staff and family alike. But who knows, maybe it could lead to happier endings for some. Even...romance.
