Summary
A fanfic about Pantalone and Il Dottore (Mostly written in Pantalone's pov). They have been married for decades and happily live together with their own quirks and flaws but love each other. They both cannot live without the other despite their bickering and arguments.
Dottore finds a new experiment that drives them apart without wanting to. The longer the experiment continues the more difficult and serious the situation becomes. All the Fatui Harbingers see how that one experiment breaks the long-standing, stable relationship between the two men, but they cannot stop it, no matter how hard they try.
It ends in a disaster, suicide, severe psychosis and death.
How the unconditional love of two soulmates can be destroyed on one winter's day. How one chance discovery leads to a maze of pain and oversized egos. In the end, they lose not only each other, but also themselves. Of the (now only) eight Harbingers, they end up with two fewer...
In the end, everyone loses their mind and makes the most impulsive and stupid decisions with enormous consequences for Snezhnaya and Teyvat.

Summary
Pantalone is going to die. He has known this for several months, and at first it was an idea firmly lodged in his subconscious; but when he finds himself in his office with that little bottle of pills, he knows that this is not an arbitrary decision, but rather the culmination of his life's work. The theater curtains will close once and for all for Pantalone, better known as the ninth of the Tsarina's eleven Harbingers, “Regrator.”
