Summary
The Storyteller program was only active for a year. They got rid of it when all it seemed to do was throw up security errors. They didn’t realize that it worked.
Perhaps a little too well.
The program itself may be gone, but the network behind it isn’t. There isn’t a single thing that happened in the Pizzaplex that isn’t recorded there—concerningly, there are even things that happened nowhere near it. What is it collecting this information for? Is there someone controlling it? How do we stop it?
Can it be stopped?
Maybe the answer lies within the stories themselves. There has to be a purpose to these logs…OR
Short stories/one-shots about the Mimic's influence, with a main overarching plot of Vanessa, Gregory, and Cassie learning about its past, its plan, and how to stop it. -

"Frostbite." Tony breathes. He jerks his head up to look at Gregory. "It's not normal frostbite. It's a later stage. You're getting worse."
Gregory blinks, watching Tony gently set his hand down on his lap as he starts working off his gloves. Is that a symptom? Not knowing when you're getting worse? Gregory's never froze to death before.
Or: Gregory and Tony are trapped in an enclosed space in the Pizzaplex while the mimic prowls around, a blizzard roaring outside as they sit and slowly freeze to death while waiting for help.

„Greg!“, Tony called out as he scrambled to his feet, running towards the noise. Logically speaking, Tony knew that running towards the source of the loud screams was nothing but stupid, putting himself in unnecessary danger. But as the scream rang in his ears a third time, he couldn't find it in himself to care. He had to help Greg, or at least try to, before it was too late.
Tony had no idea of what was going on or which dangers Greg might be in, all he knew was that he wouldn’t let those same agonizing screams get forced out of the boy another time.

Their scars would forever link them together. They'd always be connected. Something about that was endearing to Tony; he didn't particularly believe in things like that, in soulmates and all the eternal love bullshit. He didn't believe in fate, or that things happened for a reason.
And yet, since he'd met Gregory, really truly met him for the first time since his brush with death and GGY, something changed.
Maybe, just maybe, fate had brought them together.
