Michelangelo had expected to be reunited with his brothers in the afterlife, but instead he found himself in the aftermath of the Krang invasion where they had succeeded in stopping it. Feeling lost and displaced in time, Michelangelo is forced to face the ghosts of his past, and wonders where his place is in this changed world. The Krang may have been defeated, but other powers seek to take advantage of what was left behind.
