Summary
A veteran Guardian, trying to forget the cruelty and torment she once suffered at the hands of the Fallen, now tasked to serve as the Vanguard's envoy to the House of Light. A soft-spoken Kell who isn't at all what she expected, seeking refuge for his people in exchange for his assistance, whose intentions she worries she cannot trust.
How is a Guardian meant to protect such a fragile peace, when her only true ally in that task may be the person she fears most?
