Summary
Ty is a trans boy and doesnt want to tell Kit. Kit is falling in love with Ty. Meanwhile, their supposed cousins Lewis and Robyn move in. Hellhound attacks run rampant. Ty thinks it all has something to do with Livvy. As they dive into the mystery, it becomes less and less likely they’ll come out of it the same.
to clarify- this isn’t a story of trans pain or misery. it’s not to bash on cis people. when the world seems to be built against you, it’s hard to trust that other people will love you for you. i’m working on it, and watching ty work through it is helping me do it myself. please don’t use this story as an idea that all trans people struggle and are alone. it’s not true.

Summary
Kit Herondale lost everything when the apocalypse started, but when he managed to survive his Trial, he worked for the crows in exchange for survival. He hasn't seen anyone from his old life and assumed that they all died, but one day, Ty and Anush get captured by the Crows. They're a part of a rebel organization that's trying to improve life and protect whoever survived The End, and Ty wants nothing more than to get back, while Kit just wants to survive another day. They have to work together, though, if they both want to escape the Director's notice and live for just a day longer. Title is taken from A Crow's Trial by Vane on youtube.
