This is all my favourite things - double act, messed up relationships, epic death defying friendship, horror, sci fi, apocalypse, razor sharp dialogue, relentless gut punches, bravery when there's no hope, happy ending - tangled together into something so perfect I kind of never want to read another story again for the rest of my life because that'll just mean losing out on another re-read of this. It is perfect.
