Summary

The voice that had been talking to Shadowpaw for so long had vanished moons ago. It should be reassuring, it's not. As Clanmates fight over Bramblestar's new point of view, Shadowpaw must discover what caused the ThunderClan leader to change. And hopefully not die trying...
Squirrelflight had been grateful for Bramblestar's revival. But upon noticing his behavior, even after moons, begins having second thoughts. Is he truly not the cat Squirrelflight thought he was? And is she able to fight against the cat she had once loved if he doesn't stop?

Moreover, Wispspirit, traumatized by the sickness and her brother on the verge of dying, seems to have joined them and impulsively taken one of Rowanstar’s lives with her very own claws. Now, Seedsprout struggles with his sisters’ betrayal and living in the middle of enemy territory, Wispspirit feebly tries to reconcile with her brother, and Needletail, ever closer to Rain than before, digs herself deeper into the hole she dug for herself ever since she was a rebellious apprentice.
On the other side of the border, Alderheart still remembers his initial journey to find SkyClan. He still remembers Needlepaw.

Alderheart’s blood curdled as it opened its jaws to speak. “You must put me back together!” it cried. It sounded as if hundreds of voices spoke at once, every cat screaming in fear and pain. “You must heal the wound! Heal my wound!”
