Very few moments, very small moments, but moments all the same. He recalls holidays at the Weathervane, where he got to participate in the holiday spirit at work and for once, he felt included. Warmth from small moments with friends, with new friends he had only just met before things all went wrong.
The warmth drains from him, cold rushing in, prickling at his bones. Before he turned into a monster, before he betrayed everyone, before his dad died, and before his mom died for the second time.
