Summary
Three years since his Maker abandoned him at the altar of his murder, itchy with resentment and no less cynical, Daniel is summoned across the Atlantic. A campy invite dripping with half-assed subterfuge, the type of theatricality that’s unmistakable: Armand.
Rather than tell him to get bent, Daniel turns a blind eye to the objections of his common sense and deafens himself to the whispered promises of further betrayal.
With his trust balanced on his malfunctioning fear gland, he gets on the plane, gets in the coffin, and prepares himself for the worst.
