Summary
I was twelve when my father died and the Duke of Greymont took me in. His son Caleb became my whole world—warm, devoted, the light in that cold grey manor.
Then he left for Oxford. His letters grew cold, then stopped. When he returned years later as the Duke, he was different. Distant. Repressed. And tasked with one duty: finding me a husband.
