Summary
The temple of Ta’ren-til, standing at the tallest point of Mount Pakik Torwak which one was able to climb to, was a small and little-known temple. The journey to Ta’ren-til was perilous, tedious, and time consuming. The path was largely unknown, unkempt, rife with wild animals and natural disasters of varying severity. Those who knew the way would not tell you and those who made the journey rarely came back.
However, there were always those willing to make the journey.
And of those who set out, there were always a slim few who made it to the temple alive.[A fic wherein if you're afflicted by the pon farr and make it to the top of a mountain in a death-defying journey of survival and self-discovery you can have sex with the temple attendants. As a treat.]
