Summary
Young German soldier, Emmerich Reinhardt gets sent into war— to be specific, D-Day. His life and innocence is fiddled with in the hands of sadistic politicians as his pride crumbles and liquifies into guilt. Slowly he goes into mental decline, internally eating himself from the inside out till he is nothing but a shell of a boy, who used to be filled of life. Life around him is sucked from souls as his world stops.
