He wasn't looking for anything, exactly. He was just curious, anthropologically. Like David Attenborough observing fandom in the wild.

And maybe that was it, maybe that was the whole secret – Give Shane something scarier than admitting to feelings, and he finally cracked open like the toughest nut Ryan had ever cracked.
There was nothing more or less at stake than ever, but it still felt like Ryan went into this solo investigation with so much more to lose than usual.
Due to "exterior circumstances", this is maybe the most scared Shane has ever been during a Ghost Files filming. It puts some other scary things into perspective.
