Summary
After Shroud’s defeat and capture by Robert Robertson III, he’s reinstated as a Dispatcher, operating under the supervision of Blonde Blazer. The days of Mecha Man are mostly behind him as he only suits up when the mission demands it. He and Invisigal have formed a close friendship, and maybe more. Together, they navigate a fragile peace that feels one bad call away from collapse.
Meanwhile, the Superhero Dispatch Network finally tracks down Bigby Wolfe, an infamous ex-detective turned fugitive werewolf. Instead of prison, they offer him a deal: work for the Z Team under Robertson’s command in California. Bitter, tired, and out of options, Bigby accepts. But as new threats rise and SDN fractures from within, the lines between man and monster begin to blur.

As Robert hooked his thumbs in his boxers and shoved them towards the floor, Herman gave a similar reaction. Eyes wide and jaw hanging open slightly, red blush crossing his entire body. He had never seen anyone present themselves naked to him like this before, let alone a crush that he had been pining after for weeks. Herman swallowed hard and averted his gaze, staring into the damp sheets that absorbed the water pouring off of him. He wasn’t sure if this power was a blessing or a curse until Robert broke the silence with a joke.
“At least we won’t need any extra lube.”
Tonight, and perhaps for many nights in the future, his power would be a blessing after all.
