Continuing from The Great Wolf Warrior, Alex has fumbled her way through learning the ropes of being a werewolf and now must guide a new were-creature through the teething pains.
After being forcibly turned and tortured by Delphine, Maggie has a long road to recovery all while learning what life as her new being means for both her and Susan. What does it mean to be the Earthly avatar of an ancient dark god that demanded human sacrifice in the modern day?
For years, Susan had to lie to her parents about who she was and her work. She hoped that becoming a police officer would mean she could stop lying to them but, now knowing about magic, must keep it a secret from her Catholic “magic is evil” parents, including Maggie’s nature as a were-jaguar.
Revealing her secret identity to the world means Kara no longer has to worry about it while helping the world, but such an action has its consequences. Kara must now deal with them in the form of her stalker, whose behavior is quickly starting to escalate.Series

Alex has always felt strange in human society. She didn't dislike human company. She just preferred being out in nature and would be out in the forest whenever possible, even sneaking out at night to enjoy the stars and nighttime nature and gaze at the full moon.
But that all changed when Kara arrived. Overnight, she became the responsible older sister. She had to keep her sister safe, be a good example for her. She couldn't get out into the forest like she used to, and something inside her began to build up. It only added to her anger and resentment towards Kara and her own self destructive tendencies.
Life went on, and Alex was recruited into the DEO. Fighting did help with that strange feeling, and she learned to suppress it, but it never truly went away.A legend has been passed down through the Danvers family dating back to rise of the Roman empire, becoming a bedtime story told to the children. It's a story Alex tells to Esme, but recent magical strangeness has got her wondering if there's some truth to the tale.
