Kate Bishop thinks Clint Barton and Bucky Barnes are disgusting. They so clearly want to rip each other’s clothes off, but they mask it with witty remarks and bedroom eyes. She’s sick of watching them hit on each other, so she decides to play cupid. Her first job as Kate Bishop, matchmaker for the Avengers and Company, is to get the two of them to talk about their feelings. When someone sends an evil android version of Bucky after Clint, and it tries to seduce him, Kate finds the perfect opportunity to get them together. After they bicker like a married couple at a late-night diner, share their binoculars on a stake out, and break into the HR department of Avengers tower, Kate can only hope that all the dating advice she employed from terrible magazines will get them to realize they should just kiss already. Bucky doesn’t appreciate her overt attempts to shove him and Clint together - but realizes, after a near death experience, that she may have a point.

У Клинта Бартона полная сумка краденых денег и огромное желание исчезнуть с экранов радаров. Старые друзья из цирка этому точно не обрадуются и будут его искать. В отчаянной попытке спрятаться он оказывается в Таймли, крошечном городке, находящемся настолько далеко от дорог, что удивительно, как он вообще его нашел, и начинает ждать, когда за ним придет Барни. Потому что Барни обязательно придет. Клинт это точно знает.
Но город оказывается не совсем обычным. Дело и в странном волке, наблюдающем за ним из-за деревьев, и в том, что как только он заходит в комнату, люди сразу замолкают. А еще дело в бармене Баки, который, похоже, с первого взгляда решил возненавидеть его. В общем, в городе явно что-то происходит, и Клинт совсем не уверен, что не попал из огня да в полымя.

Fic Summary:
Bucky has sacrificed all of his biscuits to the dog at this point, and it’s not like he set out to have an adventure anyway. He knows he doesn’t need to eat regularly—that’s not the point. He’s hungry, and the fruit before him looks luscious and bright as anything Bucky might grow himself.
He picks up a pomegranate and splits it open easily with his knife. The seeds are bright red and he can almost feel how nice they’ll taste.
Two things happen at once.
Bucky extracts a handful of seeds and pops them in his mouth, chewing and swallowing, and someone from behind him says, “Hey, wait, don’t—oh, fuck, this isn’t gonna be good.”
