Summary
Geralt is relieved to finally have all of his family around him, despite having just lost five of his brothers at the hands of The Deathless Mother. For the time being, they are all safe within the walls of Kaer Morhen but for how long? The Wild Hunt want Ciri for their own and Geralt knows that they will have to move on soon and keep moving. Things within the keep are not quite as they should be however, and Geralt is too preoccupied with his Child Surprise to notice.
Note: Characters are tagged in order of appearance, not story time. I may get around to bringing Geralt up the ranks eventually but I haven't even rearranged the tags on Part One yet, so don't hold your breath!

So Geralt's abandoned him on top of a mountain. Again. At least the company has improved this time around.

He has almost four inches on the older wolf and he loves the way Vartok has to tilt his head back to meet his gaze. “I told you!” He snaps as he grips the handle of each of his axes without taking his eyes off the Witcher. “Do. Not. Move!”
