Summary
Megumi blinks open his eyes. Assaulted with the bright white of a hospital room, he almost wishes he hadn’t, but nonetheless turns his gaze to whoever is with him. A big burly man, hair so red that Megumi assumes it’s dyed, stands before him, young but skin dug into with frown lines and faint stress wrinkles. Megumi half jokes to himself that the man might be worse off than Nanami.
He opens his mouth to speak, the question of what happened and where Gojo is on the tip of his tongue. Only when he attempts to voice his words, nonsensical babbling replaces his speech and Megumi wants to scream.
OR: Fushiguro Megumi dies at the hands of his mentor inorder to prevent the King of Curses - Ryoumen Sukuna - from destroying and enslaving the world.

The sound of Megumi’s voice broke Nanami out of his thoughts as he slowed to a stop in front of Gojo’s boy. There was a hint of amusement in the boy’s tone. Nanami had always felt that Megumi and him shared the most in common than any of the other students which made him devastated that the poor boy had to put up with Gojo constantly. Nanami was expecting Nobara to answer for him. She’d probably yell at her teammate and embellish her performance during their sparring… but it was silent. Megumi noticed the confusion that crossed the blonde’s face and smirked ever so slightly.
“She’s asleep, Nanami-san.”

He was silent for a few moments before his cheeks flushed and he darted his eyes between Aiko and Nobara. “Spit it out.” She told him simply, making the teenager cough as his face burned. “…Do you.. Do you want more kids?” A warm smile came across her face and she didn’t hesitate to nod. “Not right now. Definitely not right now. Babies are hard. Being a mother is.. hard.. but, yes. One day I’d like another. We’d probably stop at two.”

Newly-turned Takaba Fumihiko goes to a club for the vampirically inclined in a moment of desparation. There, he meets bartender Megumi and starts to figure out his supernatural life.
“Hey, Dracula,” Fumihiko jolts at Megumi’s voice. It seems his shame wants to stalk him in the night, “What are you doing?”
It’s not his question that makes Fumihiko jump for a second time, but his proximity. His smell is enough to make Takaba’s mouth water, enough that he can imagine the taste of Megumi’s blood on his tongue.
Fumihiko covers his mouth and nose with a hand, letting out a nasally, “Don’t get too close!”

Eyes casting down, Megumi's hand twitched as he fought the urge to grab the drawstrings. The last time…there was a time after Shinjuku when Megumi tried hiding within a shadow to evade a high-grade curse. He made Nobara and Yuji promise never to tell Gojo what happened, knowing he'd never live through the shame.
It was pathetic, Megumi knew that better than anyone. His entire technique, the one thing that made him worthy of being a jujutsu sorcerer, depended on shadows. Yet Megumi couldn't even stand to look at them, his own shadow no longer a tool, but rather a source of discomfort he could never rid himself of. Whenever he looked, all he'd see were glowing red eyes, forever taunting him.
