Emmett-3 loves his Ghost, trusts him more intrinsically than anyone he has ever met. His Ghost is quite literally his soulmate, or however close a Guardian could come to such a thing. He knows it’s not his fault— knows it’s not his Ghost’s fault. But he can’t deny the way he watches Ghost out of the corner of his eye or listens for an otherworldly echo.
He can’t stop thinking about how quickly he aimed a rifle at his own Ghost.

The Darkness closes in on the Traveler and the Last City. Planets disappear and the Vanguard is spurred into action. Jadyn Amaris, the hero of the Red War finds herself on Europa looking for answers. A Guardian rises from the dead on a snowy peak far from the reach of the Tower. When he falls under the purview of the Vanguard, it doesn't take long for people to realize he holds more power than the average green power ranger. On his journey to discovering his potential, he is accompanied by a time-lost friend who followed him from death to rebirth. New life may not be the easiest thing in the world, but he's glad to have her. Surpassing the rising threats to the City and growing stronger with every passing day, he will become legend.

It would have been funny -maybe he would’ve even laughed- but all he did was stare tiredly, his right eye finally shutting down from the extensive wounds dealt to it. “I’m going to kill them all.” The Titan vowed, reaching forward to bring the Hunter to lay against his chest, the smaller Vanguard doing so without much thought. "I promise you I'll kill them all."
