Summary
Zephyr Haddock has lived a rather comfortable life. The only thing she has ever wanted was to live amongst dragons like the Hooligans before her time, to experience the wonder of the mysterious creatures. The same wonder that her parents and other older tribe members have told stories of since she was a little girl; but that has always seemed like an impossible fantasy to Zephyr. However, 20 years after the dragons left for the Hidden World, and 10 years after her parents took her and Nuffink to visit the dragons, Hiccup receives a mysterious letter from none other than Dagur the Deranged, inviting them over to Berserker Island to discuss a startling discovery. After arriving Zephyr starts to wonder what the consequences may be of getting what you wish for.

Summary
Zephyr knew from her earliest years that she would be the one to take her father’s place as Chief. Well, Chieftess. Whether the people of New Berk were ready for a change like that or not. Unfortunately, it seems that more people were not ready for that change than she had hoped. But with a new threat slashing its way through the Archipelago, eyes set on New Berk and the secrets that flew away 2 years before Zephyr was born, she would have the chance to prove herself to her people soon enough. Whether she was ready for a change like that or not.

Summary
Thirteen years after the end of HTTYD3, Hiccup's now turbulent relationship with his son, Nuffink, is put to the further test by the arrival of an ancient water-dwelling dragon of Irish Myth known as The Oilliphéist. The father and son duo must put aside their differences and work with another father and son duo, the dragons Toothless and Pouncer, to discover the mystery of The Oilliphéist. When she was little, her father would tell her stories. Fantastical tales of beasts that dominated the Earth, Sea, and Sky. Wild accounts of daring heroes astride fearsome dragons, battling side by side as one. He told her of great grim sky dragons that nested on the cliff tops like gigantic scary birds; of little brown scuttly dragons that hunted down mice and rats in well-organized packs. Of preposterously huge sea dragons that were twenty times as big as the big blue whale. Most importantly, he told her of Toothless, the bravest and fiercest dragon of them all. The King of all Dragons, who led his wayward brethren into hiding, where they would be safe from the threat of man forevermore. As a small child, Zephyr had feared the dragons. She used to have terrible nightmares of great, fanged beasts crawling from the earth’s core to gobble her up. That is until she met Toothless, Ruler of the Hidden World. A creature that wasn’t scary or ferocious, as the old transcripts had depicted. The Toothless she met was an intelligent, gentle creature whose soul reflected her own. He had looked at her and he had recognized something in her that she didn’t even see herself. And from that moment on, Zephyr Haddock dreamed of dragons.
